Educational Qualification	Matriculation Examination passed with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized board.
Age Criteria	- Agniveer 02/2025 Batch: Born between 01 Sep 2004 and 29 Feb 2008 (inclusive). - Agniveer 01/2026 Batch: Born between 01 Feb 2005 and 31 Jul 2008 (inclusive). - Agniveer 02/2026 Batch: Born between 01 Jul 2005 and 31 Dec 2008 (inclusive).
Marital Status	Only unmarried male and female candidates are eligible. Candidates must remain unmarried throughout the tenure.
Nationality	Indian citizens only.
Physical Standards	Minimum height: 157 cm for both male and female candidates. Candidates must meet prescribed medical and physical fitness standards.

Selection Process

Stage I - INET Exam	Computer-based test with 50 objective-type questions (Science & Mathematics and General Awareness). Duration: 30 minutes. Negative marking applies.
Shortlisting	Based on marks obtained in Stage I - INET, candidates are shortlisted state-wise for Stage II.
Stage II - Physical Fitness Test (PFT)	Includes 1.6 km run, squats, push-ups, and sit-ups. Qualifying in PFT is mandatory.
Stage II - Written Exam	Objective-type test with 50 questions (Science & Mathematics and General Awareness). Duration: 30 minutes.
Recruitment Medical Examination	Conducted for candidates qualifying PFT. Medical fitness is assessed by authorized military doctors.
Provisional Select List	Prepared based on performance in Stage II written exam, PFT, and medical examination.
Pre-Enrolment Medicals	Final medical formalities conducted at INS Chilka. Induction is subject to qualifying these formalities.
