Eligiblity Critera

Educational Qualification	Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science or equivalent from a recognized university. Proficiency in computers (Word Processing and Spreadsheets).
Language Requirement	Must have passed matriculation with Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects OR completed +2/B.A./M.A. with Hindi as one of the subjects. If not, must pass Hindi language examination up to matriculation standard within probation period.

Selection Process

Computer Based Test	Total Marks: 60 Type: Objective multiple-choice questions (MCQs) Subjects: English Composition & General Knowledge Duration: 1 hour Marking Scheme: 1 mark per question, no negative marking Shortlisting: Candidates equivalent to three times the advertised vacancies will be selected for the next round based on normalized marks (if conducted in multiple shifts).
2. English Shorthand & Transcription Test	Dictation Speed: 80 WPM (Words Per Minute) Transcription Speed: 20 WPM on a computer Qualification Criteria: No candidate committing more than 8% mistakes will qualify.
3. Spreadsheet Test	Total Marks: 10 Duration: 10 minutes Qualification Criteria: Minimum 40% marks (i.e., 4 or more) Additional Rule: Answer sheets for English Shorthand & Transcription Test will be evaluated only for candidates scoring at least 4 marks in the Spreadsheet Test.
4. Checking of Original Testimonials/Interaction	Candidates qualifying the previous rounds will be called for document verification and interaction.
Final Merit Determination	Basis: Merit will be strictly based on performance in the English Shorthand & Transcription Test. Tie-Breaker: The older candidate (by age) will rank higher. If the date of birth is the same, alphabetical order (A-Z) will be considered. Station Allocation: Based strictly on merit.
